During his first term representing Columbia County, State Rep. Robert Leadbeter distinguished himself as a solid conservative and highly effective legislator. Among the hundreds of bills he has sponsored or voted on are:
- Introduced HB93 , a bill supporting educating young adults about the threat of human trafficking
- Voted for HB1100 , a bill that expands property tax relief for seniors
- Co-Sponsored a bill preventing municipalities and counties from becoming sanctuary cities for illegal immigrants ( HB1840)
- Co-sponsored a bill prohibiting non-citizens from voting in Pennsylvania elections ( HB1890)
